Baltimore Youth Cycling had an amazing first weekend in September as cross season kicked off in the Mid-Atlantic at Ed Sander CX.

There were so much winning out there – and while there were podiums, the winning went far beyond that. A tricky, turn-heavy course had everyone digging into the skills they’ve been honing at Tuesday and Thursday night practices, getting over barriers, handling some serious off-camber turns, and learning what it means to go all-out from the whistle. The team is back at it this weekend, with some traveling to Richmond, VA for the kickoff of the USCX Series at Go Cross, and others staying more local in northern Virginia at the inaugural TacoCross. For others, it will be a settle-in weekend with eyes looking ahead to Hyattsville CX, coming up on September 21st.
The racing is just getting started! And if you’re interested in joining in and seeing what it’s all about, reach out!
